Win a $25 Gift Card for Cascade Complete

We have an ongoing fight in my house about the dishwasher. I think that everything should be rinsed well before it is put into the dishwasher. My husband thinks that the purpose of the dishwasher is to wash the dishes and we should not have to rinse them. We found our compromise in Cascade Complete All-in-1 Action Pacs.

I was skeptical at first when I got my package in the  mail from My Blog Spark. According to Cascade’s “24 Hour Challenge,” I could bake a blueberry cobbler and let the baking dish set out for 24 hours. Then, without ever rinsing it, I could put it in the dishwasher with a Cascade Complete and it would come out completely clean.

My family isn’t into blueberry cobbler, so I made a casserole. Normally I would let the dish sit in the sink for a few hours and rinse it out before I put it in the dishwasher. I would then use my special “casserole scrubbing” function on my dishwasher to aim the water right at the dish. Even then, it might not get perfectly clean. Most of the time, I never even bother putting the casserole dishes in the dishwasher because of that. This time, I did what the challenge said. No rinsing, no scrubbing. No special pot scrubber function. Just Cascade Complete and a normal wash.

How excited was I when it came out clean?? No stuck on food at all. I had always used the regular Cascade gel pacs before, but I am now a believer in the All-in-1 pacs. Will I stop rinsing my dishes? It’s not likely. I still don’t like them to sit in the dishwasher for a day or more with gross food on them. But I won’t be so worried about scrubbing them down. And I will be more likely to put the casserole dishes into the dishwasher rather than scrubbing them by hand.

Have you tried Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs? What has your experience been? Tell me below plus get entered to win a Walmart Gift Card!

I love having a dishwasher, but what I most dislike having to wash off my dishes would have to be scramble eggs. Go cascade complete, I’d love to get some again but have been forced to get the cheap stuff due to financial difficulty.

I have always had a problem with Lasagna or chicken parmesean ( anything with pasta sauce that has been baked with cheese). I always rinse my dishes out, but when we have lasagna for dinner, I soak it then wash it by hand. I would love to try the Cascade Actionpacs to see if they really work like they say.

I have to be the laziest person when it pertains to my dishwasher. I load everything in there, and then I am “shocked” when dishes do not come out cleaned. Then I spend the stupidest amount of time, running hot water, letting the baked on, caked on, soak, it hot water, so I can “attempt” to get the crud off the dishes. Sometimes I don’t even know why I have a dishwasher. But if this soap from Cascade works-they sure had me in mind.

Dried oatmeal is definitely the worst! A close second is any thin layer of food that baked on the sides of any casserole dish. I too have gotten to the point that I don’t put a casserole dish in without soaking it for a day and scraping everything off. This could be a fun challenge for me to try at home too!

My husband and I have had the rinse off/put stuff in debate for almost 28 years now. We’ve had four dishwashers during that time, and we’ve found that you could skip rinsing with a couple of them but not the others. The current one is in the latter group, so I think I need this product!

I think the worst thing to get clean are the cereal bowls when my kids leave rice krispies or corn flakes in them to dry up. OR the dish that you microwave scrambled eggs in. Very hard to get clean. I actually just learned that you should never clean your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher – the dishwashers today have sensors that tell them how thoroughly to clean your dishes. If you prewash the dishes, the machine doesn’t do as good of a job.

Right now I’m using the Sunlight OxiAction Power Caps and they’re not cutting it. I’d like to try the Cascade Complete to see how well they work on the dried on, caked on cereal gunk.

I, too, think you need to rinse off the lose foods before sticking them in the dish washer. And then I also feel like I can just go ahead and completely washing them since I have to do that, so most times I just wash them and don’t bother with the dishwasher. LOL.
