Moms Can Have Sex, Too?

September 23, 2009 By Leave a Comment

When I saw that drugstore.com was launching SexualWellBeing.com, my first thought was that I needed to check it out and write a review about it. Then my next thought was that it would be inappropriate to write about something like that on a site for moms. But wait…I’m pretty sure that moms have sex, too…right? So just be forewarned that you should stop reading if sex isn’t your thing. Or if you are my mom. Or my mother-in-law. Both of you should stop reading now as well.

For those of you who have decided to continue through the post, congratulations! You are bold and confident in your sexuality. Or at least a little bit curious.

I’ve seen the Sex section on drugstore.com for some time, but they have now launched a completely separate site called SexualWellBeing.com that seems to have the same items. What I like about that is that the reviews carried over from the old site. So you can see what thousands of people have had to say about products. Believe me when I say that you can get a full sex education just from reading some of the product reviews.

Products on the site range from innocently functional (like razors) to sexually useful (like condoms) to exotic novelties (like blow up dolls). You can find pretty much everything in between whether you are looking for something simple like flavored lubricants to kits containing vibrators and handcuffs. There’s even a “New Arrivals” section in case you already have everything else that they have sold in the past.

One of the nice things about the site is that products will be shipped to you from drugstore.com. This means that when the UPS man brings the package to the door and the kids answer it, they’ll only see “drugstore.com” on the package and not something like “Freaky’s Funky Sex Toys.” I haven’t placed an order to see what comes across the credit card statement. But if it is “drugstore.com” as well, that would make it easier to order a surprise gift for husbands who see the bills before gifts are given.

If you are thinking of checking them out, here’s a SexualWellBeing.com coupon for 20% off orders of $49 or more (good through October 31, 2009). And if you are so inclined, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think about the new site as well. I’m fairly convinced that most of you moms out there are, indeed, having sex (whether or not you admit it) and could use a little something from SexualWellBeing.com.
