Green Giant Seasoned Steamers Giveaway

October 27, 2012 By Tricia 18 Comments

If you read my posts regularly, you know that I absolutely love trying new products, especially when they are food! I had not seen the Green Giant Seasoned Steamers at my grocery store yet, but I was anxious to try them when I got the opportunity from MyBlogSpark.

I am pretty picky about vegetables. We eat them with every meal, but I am not a big fan of canned vegetables. I much prefer frozen and quick steamer packs are my favorite. The Green Giant Seasoned Steamers come in 6 varieties: Mediterranean Blend, Tuscan Seasoned Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts with Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper, Honey Roasted Sweet Corn, Honey Dijon Carrots and Backyard Grilled Potatoes.

We tried the Tuscan Seasoned Broccoli. The broccoli was flavored with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil and Parmesan cheese. It was quick to make and was a great side dish for the chicken we had. It would also make a nice side dish for spaghetti or lasagna, and I am always looking for veggies to go with those because many do not. I think next we will try the Mediterranean Blend because I like the idea of having some potatoes mixed in with the vegetables and not having a separate carb side dish.

In addition to trying the Steamers, I was sent an awesome prize pack like the one pictured below. It included an apron, serving spoon, big mixing bowl, and the coupon for a free package of Green Giant Seasoned Steamers. Lucky for you, I am giving one away as well!

Bonus! Act quickly and download a printable coupon for $1 off the purchase of one package!

I’ve already tried the brusselsprouts- they were OK; the carrots are really good. So, now I’d like to try the honey roasted sweet corn
