I just saw a Verizon commercial that cracked me up. Although my kids are not old enough to be on Twitter and Facebook yet, I can completely see this coming in a few years. (My mother is on Facebook and Twitter and my grandmother is on Facebook!)
The commercial is funny because the parents clearly think that they are into something very “cool” and the kids aren’t so sure that they want their parents to be there. It’s a nice statement that the parents are “friends” with their kids in the various social media. But I don’t want to go too deep into that whole issue right now. Let’s just laugh at the commercial. Especially the dad at the very end.
Too late, Shawn. You already missed her birthday. Although Kim Rowley did leave her a nice birthday message on her wall. Grandma changed her Facebook status to Kim’s name for the next 24 hours. LOL!
