I was about to cash out at MySurvey.com for my usual check when I discovered that they now have PayPal as an option! I cashed out last night and already have the money in my PayPal account today–very exciting. They also have hundreds of new cashout items from gift cards to movies to toys. I was tempted to use my points for something else, but had already spent the money I was cashing out for (woops!). The new cashout options do take a few more points than they used to for the same amount of money, but it is not substantial and likely just a cost of business.

In case you have never heard of MySurvey, here is part of a review that I previously wrote about them. They are by far my favorite survey site (except, of course, Sunshine Rewards!)

I’ve tried a number of survey companies and most of them are very similar. Many of them pull their surveys from Greenfield and you earn some kind of points or credits by doing them. While those surveys are fine if you want to accumulate money or rewards over time, my favorite survey company is MySurvey.com (sometimes called NFO Surveys). What I love is that once you get into their system and prove yourself, you can start getting products to try. Most of the products are brand new and some are not even on the market yet.

This year alone I have tested makeup, household supplies, and even snacks. In one case I was given a month’s supply of a household product that is name brand and generally pretty expensive. I’ve loved some of the products and hated some of them. In either case, I got to try them for free. For reasons of confidentiality, I can’t disclose the products that I have tried or the brand names. But suffice to say that these are major companies with things you use everyday anyway.

Although you do get points that you can exchange for cash or prizes (I cash out for about $100 a year), I would do it just to try the products. I love new things, but I hate spending money on them if I am not sure if I will like them. Take a chance on signing up with MySurvey.com. Take their surveys for a few months and if you take it seriously and do them regularly, you will start getting to try out new products for free as well.

One of my favorite times of the day is getting the mail. I know it’s crazy, but I often get some really good stuff. Because I belong to a number of different survey and free stuff sites, I can expect to get something cool at least twice a week. Whether it’s a sample to try out myself, a coupon for something I use anyway, or a set of sample to share with friends, I always get excited by the mail.

I’ve been a member of Vocal Point since they started and am always excited when I see something from them. They are owned by Procter & Gamble and are a legitimate survey/coupon site. You get email newsletters as well as coupons and samples via snail mail. Most of the time you are then given an opportunity to give feedback about their products–whether they are new or just improved. You’ll also find recipes and little household tips (like the many uses for fabric softener sheets).

If you like getting free samples and coupons and are not already a member, you should definitely give Vocal Point a try. It’s free and will definitely save you some money.

I’m all about the newest makeup, floor cleaner, or hairspray. Lucky for me, there are ways to get free samples of a lot of those things just for giving my opinion about them. The best part? All of the companies I am going to mention are completely legitimate! My favorites:

NFO/MySurvey.com I’ve written about this one before, but it is worth mentioning again. Often their surveys are just your opinion about products that are already out in the marketplace. But sometimes you get lucky and if your demographics are right, you get to test a new product and then give your feedback. I don’t mind telling them when the product is crappy either. For example, I got a makeup sample recently and I hated it! I would have done the test of the product and given feedback even if they hadn’t given me “points” for it. I just wanted to try the product. I ended up not liking it at all and told them exactly why. I haven’t seen the product being sold yet, so hopefully they are fixing it! I’ve accumulated enough points to even cash out for a couple of $20 checks from them. Not much, but it’s really the product reviews that I do it for anyway.

SheSpeaks.com This is one that I don’t see many people talking about yet, but I love it! You don’t get any kind of points for doing the product tests, but you do get some great products to try. You usually get a nice packet of information about the product along with some coupons to give to your friends when you try out the products. I currently have a nice sized sample of Bliss Best of Skintentions and have had things like Oral B toothbrushes for my kids and OPI Nic’s Sticks. Geared toward women, I love the types of campaigns that they offer.

BzzAgent This is kind of a combination of both of the above. You take surveys about products in addition to getting to try them out and spreading the word about them. You do accumulate some “points” that you can cash out as well for gift cards. BzzAgent campaigns are not primarily geared toward women, but those are the ones that I get most. I’ve tried makeup, window cleaners, and even a toothbrush sanitizer. You have to kind of work your way up the ladder there to get the best campaigns. One cool thing is that it integrates with your Facebook account. The site is a little more convoluted than the other two, but if you really get into it, you can get some cool product opportunities.

Taking all three of these together, I probably end up with at least 2 new products a month to test. And I’m not so heavily into it that I visit the sites daily…or even weekly. I pretty much wait for them to email me with opportunities. But I’ve had great luck with all three and hope that you will, too!

Have you been thinking about signing up for one of those sites that pays you for taking surveys but are concerned about whether the surveys are legitimate? After months of experimenting, Helping Moms Connect is pleased to endorse NFO/MySurvey. Read our My Survey Reviews below:

My Survey Review From Cindy Ballard–

What’s really neat is that some of the surveys on consumer products I took a year ago are now hitting the market and I had prior knowledge to the products. When I see them in the stores or on TV advertised as new, I laugh because my input helped name them, or price them, or pick their flavors. I have had NFO send me products then use them for awhile and then complete a phone or online survey with them about the products. It’s fun, and best of all, you gain points that lead to either money, or a whole list of products to chose from.
My Survey Review From Tricia Meyer–

I have been taking the NFO surveys for about a year now, and I can truly say it is one of the best. I originally signed up with about 15 survey sites to see which one I liked best. This one is definitely it. Not only are the surveys fun, but they are very easy to take.

I am currently doing a beverage survey for them. I have a sheet where I have to fill out what I drink for an entire day, then I will give them the results. I’ve never earned money this easy before. The more surveys you fill out, and the more information you give them about yourself, the more surveys they will send you. Some of them are worth big points. Sign up today and try it.

I’m always skeptical about anything where I get “something for nothing.” When I heard that you could make money online for taking surveys, I was intrigued. The money isn’t huge, but it is a nice little extra.

So far, my favorite survey site is NFO/MySurvey. Why? First, the surveys are interesting. Sometimes you watch commercials, sometimes you tell about products you currently use, and sometimes you even have products sent to you. I especially like the new product surveys. Often you get to see markups of the advertising in advance. Some of the brands that I have given my opinion on include Jello, Huggies, and Saab.

A second reason that I like NFO is the ease of use. I get notified by email when there is a survey waiting for me. Sometimes I will get a few in a week. Other weeks I may only get one. They always clearly tell me in advance what I will get from the survey.

Finally, I like that I actually get paid! I was only in the program for a couple of months before I had enough points to request my first check. After I requested the check, it arrived within about two weeks. Not too bad! NFO is reputable company worth giving a try.

Take Surveys with NFO & Go for $10,000
