Some of them have gotten hundreds of dollars! I don’t have a lot of old jewelry, but I definitely have some broken necklaces and bracelets that I am never going to use again.

I’ve looked at their terms closely, and there doesn’t really seem to be any catch. Just understand how much you are insured for if you send in lots of jewelry at once.
