Oriental Trading Company

Before I had kids, I always tossed the Oriental Trading Company catalogs when they came in the mail. I thought it was all just little trinket junk that would clutter my house. But then I had toddlers. Toddlers who enjoyed doing crafts, who needed little gifts to exchange with friends, and who could be occupied on airplanes and in cars with coloring and opening gift bags.

The first time that I ordered from Oriental Trading Company, I ordered small. Just a few little items so that I could see what the quality was like. It was inexpensive enough that I could afford to lose it if the whole box was worthless. Was I surprised! My experience was so great that by Christmas, I was ordering $75 worth of products at a time--and that $75 resulted in big boxes of games, prizes, and crafts. Further than the same amount of money could go even at the local dollar store.

So what am I spending all of this money on, and why do I recommend them so highly? Their products range from holiday crafts to religious toys to prizes for parties. For Christmas, my daughter made for friends and family handmade felt stockings, snowflake bookmarks, and sun-catcher ornaments. We wrapped them in gift bags that both of the girls had colored. In addition to the gifts, we had huge rolls of stickers to play with, coloring sets to give to classmates, and various Thanksgiving crafts for our trip to see grandma in Florida.

Christmas being over, it is now the perfect time both to stock up on the discounted holiday items from last year and also order February, March, and April items. For less than $1 a piece, your kids can make Valentine's mailboxes. For less than 50 cents a piece, they can make magnetic photo frames. For about a quarter a piece, they can make fuzzy Valentine's magnets. (My girls are partial to all of the "fuzzy" coloring items).

Thinking ahead to Easter? How about crafts for the kids to make to include with the cards you send to family members? Stickers and games for the baskets...smaller items for filling the Easter Eggs for the hunt! You will not be disappointed in the selection or value for the money when you order from Oriental Trading Company.

Even better, once you become a customer, you will start getting their catalogs regularly with offers of free shipping and extra discounts off of the catalog prices. In my experience, their turnaround time on orders is very quick, and I have never had the order arrive inaccurate in any way. If you have any questions about particular items that I tend to order, feel free to email me at tricia@helpingmomsconnect.com. I hope that you will have as good an experience with Oriental Trading Company as I have!
