Summer's Beauty Tips: Green Tea Tonic

Here is an extremely inexpensive tonic for aging and tired skin. This specific tonic cleanses, tones, and smoothes. Working in a salon for five years I have come to find that MANY women drink green tea. Especially those who are concerned about their health. For those of you who don’t happen to have green tea on hand, buying some won’t make much of a dent in your pocket book, and you can use what you have remaining to drink with your breakfast. Being so healthy, it’s a great way to start your day! All this tonic calls for is the following…

2 teaspoons powdered green tea
½ cup boiling water

Boil the water, then steep the green tea in it for 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Now simply apply to face with a cotton ball. Use daily for best results.

Quick Beauty Tip

Nails that are weak and brittle can be caused by dehydration, exposure to the elements, or cleaning products. Protect your nails by remembering to always wear gloves when you clean! To replace already lost moisture to your nails, apply just a bit of olive oil to the nail bed! Olive oil is just a less expensive cuticle oil!
