We like it, we love it, and with Blockbuster
Online, we get more of it. For just $14.99 per month we get access to
unlimited movie rentals that come right to our door with no late fees or
obligation to buy. We simply signed up online and added movies to our
personal movie queue. We made our selections from 100’s of movies that
range from old to new, comedy to horror, and action to chick flick. As
long as there are movies in our queue, we will always have movies to
watch.
Blockbuster started by sending us three movies. We
watched them and kept them for as long as we liked. When we returned
one, postage paid by Blockbuster, they sent us another in order of our
queue. We can keep up to three movies at a time. The only downfall is
that we have to wait for mail deliver. We have consistently had a 5-6
day turn around. This works for us because we rarely watch movies
during the week. If we have movies for the weekend and get new ones for
the following weekend, all is right with the world.
Additionally, we get two free in store movie or
game rentals each month. This is a huge hit with the kids who each have
their own video game system. Every month, they are guaranteed the
chance to try out a new game for free. This is a great opportunity to
let them test games before they use their own money to purchase new
ones. It also allows us to get new video releases without waiting for
shipment if there is something we really want to see.
The customer service at Blockbuster is excellent as
well. We did have a couple of minor issues in the beginning. I emailed
customer service with my concerns, and they responded within 24 hours
with a complete resolution.
I think an online relationship with Blockbuster is
the way to go. If you watch 3-5 movies per month, it is worth the
money, and you’ll love the convenience!
