About Us

Helping Moms Connect was formed by two Indianapolis-area moms, Tricia Meyer and Angela Meeks in December 2004. The idea was simple--create a website where mothers like themselves could get references about local businesses and meet other moms with whom they shared interests. That initial idea spawned many additional ideas--ways to collect local event information, sponsorships for contests and discounts, and helpful hints.

Tricia lives in Fishers, Indiana, with her husband, Kevin, and two daughters, Jillian and Cassie. She received a Bachelors degree from Ball State University and a Law Degree from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. She is a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan despite all of the Indianapolis Colts fans around her.
